Willow is one of Australia’s leading esky and cooler brands. With its existing website outdated and providing a poor user experience, Willow engaged Digital Thing to redevelop its site on a tight budget and have it live within three weeks. The new website needed to showcase the Willow product range and allow internal teams to easily update and manage content. The Solution
The Willow website was developed by Digital Thing using WordPress page builder Elementor, which simplified the design and user experience of the site across all devices. The website was completely redeveloped to improve the user experience and make it as simple as possible to navigate. The new site also allowed Willow’s internal teams to easily update the website with new products and information.
Given the time and budget constraints, Digital Thing designed the website specifically to showcase the product range and direct users to stockists to purchase products. It also added functionality to allow users to raise support and warranty requests directly through the website.
Outcome
The new website was launched just three weeks after Digital Thing commenced work and was completed within the tight budget set by Willow. The simple design and easy navigation contributed to large increases in time on site and a much improved user experience. In particular, the product showcase and ability to direct users to stockists enhanced the user experience and allowed them to quickly navigate to what they were looking for.
The added support functionality was crucial to enhancing Willow’s brand, giving customers an online touchpoint for any issues. Willow staff were also pleased with how easy the site was to update and maintain, especially to keep their product range up-to-date.
