Digital Thing developed a completely new website for Ekodeck, creating a custom WordPress theme with a visually striking design by Brands to Life. The updated site delivered a much-improved user experience, introducing a modern, sleek interface, which was fully-responsive and consistent across all devices. Given the large amount of product information and imagery, Digital Thing re-organised the content to ensure seamless navigation for users.
One of the key features of the new website was the interactive decking calculator for users to access on the website and determine the most suitable products. The calculator became an extremely popular tool, ranking at the top of Google search results and helping Ekodeck build its email database. In addition to the calculator, Digital Thing achieved strong organic keyword rankings for both broad and brand-specific searches, positioning Ekodeck as an authority for decking and screening in Australia. It also implemented simple lead capture forms across the site to capture customer information and integrate with Ekodeck’s internal sales processes.
