Board Benchmarking is a leading provider of corporate board benchmarking surveys. It approached Digital Thing to help transform the way board and director surveys are conducted and bring them online. Board Benchmarking required a budget-friendly MVP to easily deliver insights to boards and directors, and serve as a template for partners to replicate in other parts of the world. Digital Thing delivered the new website on time and within budget, driving an immediate surge in interest and uptake by partners and customers globally.
The Board Benchmarking website was developed by Digital Thing using WordPress page builder Elementor, which simplified the design and user experience of the site and allowed for the easy customisation of partner sites. Digital Thing also utilised WordPress multisite functionality and developed a custom plugin to handle pricing and order processing.
A unique onboarding process was developed by Digital Thing to manage partner and customer surveys seamlessly using email automation and handle specific customer data requirements. Digital Thing also developed a ‘gated’ sample survey to drive email sign-ups and build Board Benchmarking’s customer database.
Digital Thing launched the new website on time and within budget with Board Benchmarking seeing an immediate surge in partners signing up to on-sell their surveys globally. The ‘gated’ sample survey drove a similar increase in leads as Board Benchmarking quickly saw its customer database and prospect list double in size.
The new website rose up the Google rankings and reached page one shortly after launch as more and more companies and partners searched for an online board benchmarking solution. Digital Thing continues to work closely with the Board Benchmarking team to drive leads and maintain a high-performing digital environment.
