With demand for warehouse sales increasing across Australia, Hussh approached Digital Thing to launch a new website that would bring warehouse sales online. The website needed to function as a multi-vendor eCommerce site that could handle significant amounts of traffic, transactions and products from different vendors. Digital Thing developed a powerful eCommerce website with a world-class shopping experience that seamlessly handled spikes in traffic and significantly grew the Hussh customer database.

The solution
The Hussh website was designed and developed by Digital Thing with a custom responsive theme using WordPress and WooCommerce. The website includes an enhanced layout with custom product filtering capabilities that make it easy for users to search for products and navigate the large product database. Because warehouse sales run for a limited time and are discount-driven, Digital Thing integrated a dynamic savings feed to filter products based on the discount level along with a product countdown timer to drive sales.
Digital Thing developed an enhanced shopping cart to simplify the user experience and make it simple for customers to checkout quickly and securely using Stripe, Paypal and Apple Pay. The eCommerce platform was configured for the Hussh team to easily manage warehouse sales and products across multiple locations, and handle significant spikes in traffic for popular sales and listings. Digital Thing also integrated Active Campaign to automate email marketing and build the Hussh customer database.
Outcome
Digital Thing delivered a powerful eCommerce solution for Hussh to bring warehouse sales online. The feedback from users and vendors was overwhelmingly positive and Hussh saw an enormous jump in traffic and sales through the new website that continues to grow today. The website has been stable and secure, seamlessly handling large influxes of users for popular sales and listings every month.
The Hussh team were delighted with the new website and the ability to easily change products, create listings and launch sales on a daily basis without any additional support. On the marketing side, the Active Campaign integration has steadily increased the customer database and return visitors to the website, allowing Hussh to attract new vendors and sales to the site.
